Terms of Service

RegBrief (“the Service”) is a regulatory information service operated by Lumio (“we”, “us”). By using regbrief.ai, subscribing to our emails, or purchasing a membership, you agree to these terms.

Not legal advice. RegBrief provides summaries of laws, bills, enforcement actions, and deadlines for general informational purposes only. It is not legal advice, and using the Service does not create an attorney-client relationship. Regulations change quickly and summaries may contain errors or omissions — always verify against the linked official sources and consult a qualified lawyer before making decisions about your business.

Subscriptions. Paid memberships are billed monthly in advance through Stripe and renew automatically. You can cancel anytime from the member portal; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and you retain access until then. Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable.

Acceptable use. Memberships are for your organization’s internal use. You may not resell, redistribute, or republish the Service’s content at scale, or use automated means to extract the database. Quoting brief excerpts with attribution is welcome.

Disclaimer and liability. The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability arising from your use of the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.

Data sources. State legislative data is provided by LegiScan (CC BY 4.0). Federal data comes from the Federal Register and the FTC (public domain). EU data comes from EUR-Lex (© European Union, reused with attribution).

Changes. We may update these terms; material changes will be noted on this page with a new “last updated” date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
